Patriot Day: 10 years later

It's been a decade since that terrible, singular day: 
the unfolding trauma of a man-made disaster.
 
So much condensed heartbreak and anger.
 
Information and transport jammed to dysfunction.
 
Everyone desperate for reassurance in whatever context available--
especially inside skyscrapers, 
and definitely inside aircraft.
 
A time-lapse of thousands of planes being grounded:
their contrails like chalkmarks on a pale slate of sky...
